乳酸链球菌素的使用历史:
1928年,美国Roger等人发现乳酸链球菌素的代谢产物能抑制保加利亚乳杆菌;
1947年,英国Mattick A, T 认识到血清学N群中的一些乳酸链球菌(Streptococcus Lactis)产生具有蛋白质抑制物,且将其命名为“Nisin”;
1969年,Nisin的第一批商品在英国面市;
1969年,FAO/WHO批准Nisin为食品防腐剂;
1990年,美国FDA确认Nisin为公认安全食品。
